The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
